Raine Maida
Raine Maida is a Canadian musician best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of alternative rock band Our Lady Peace. He is known for his unique falsetto vocals, as well as singing from puzzling and poetic songs. He sometimes plays certain musical instruments, such as the acoustic guitar, while performing with Notre-Dame de la Paix. After guitarist Mike Turner left Our Lady Peace in 2001, Maida was the only remaining original member of the group. Maida began her solo career in 2006, releasing her first solo album The Hunters Lullaby in 2007. He also self-produced Our Lady Peace's seventh studio album, Burn Burn, in 2009. Maida is married. Canadian singer Chantal Kreviazuk since 1999, and they have three sons together. Maida has been closely associated with War Child and other charities since 2003, and is an outspoken critic of the Iraq war and former US President George W. Bush.
