Shiamak Davar is an Indian choreographer recognized as one of the first to introduce contemporary Western dance and jazz to India. He is known as the master of contemporary dance in India. He is responsible for the modernization of Indian dance, especially in the film and theater industries. He is respected for his growing and popular "Shiamak Style". He is directing the choreography of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. In 2011, he choreographed the choreography segments for Mission Impossible 4. Davar choreographed Indian actors and celebrities in film and theater for events like the IIFA Awards and Filmfare Awards. Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Dhawan, Ishaan Khattar were members of the Shiamak Davar Dance Corps. Future Indian actors Ruslaan Mumtaz, Shubh and child actor Darsheel Safary are also part of the Shiamak Davar Dance Corps.
