He is known for his role as Deputy Sheriff Enos Strategy in the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. He also starred in the short sub-series Enos, based on his character in Dukes of Hazzard. Shroyer is married and the father of two sons, Chris and Mark. Shroyer was born in the town of Valdosta, Georgia. He attended Florida State University on a football scholarship, but his career was cut short by injury. He graduated from the University of Georgia. He started his career as a professional model in 1961. Her on-screen role was in the 1972 film Payday. Shroyer almost became a villain before taking on the innocent vice-Enos Strate role in hit pop culture series The Dukes of Hazzard. in 1978. The Role Dukes of Hazzard is Shroyer's most obvious role.
