After co-hosting the show for five years with Free, Calloway left the show on July 28, 2005. The host, who had been on the entertainment show for 14 years, was suspended in February for rape allegations made against him. Warner Bros. The television has ended its relationship with longtime Extra host A.J. Calloway after the studio's investigation into multiple allegations of sexual assault. Calloway was unable to immediately contact to comment on the split, which Warners described as two parties, but he has previously denied any wrongdoing.
