Christopher Darin Carter is a former professional American football player who was featured in the National Rugby League for the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins. After playing college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Carter was included in the Eagles for the fourth round of the 1987 NFL Extra Draft. In Philadelphia, head coach Buddy Ryan Helped find a famous quote from Chris Berman on ESPN about Carter: "All he does is grab keys." However, he was fired from Ryan in 1989 due to problems off the field. Carter was signed by the Viking and changed his life and career, twice becoming the first team and once the second All-Pro and playing in eight consecutive Pro Bowls. When he left Vikings after 2001, he held most of the team's career records. He briefly played for Dolphins in 2002 before retiring.
