David Charles Prowse is an English bodybuilder, weightlifter, and British film and television actor. He played the role of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy and a servant in Stanley Kubrick's 1971 A Clockwork Orange. In 2015, he starred in two documentaries related to his role as Darth Vader, one called The Force's Mouth, which featured Prowse first voicing Darth Vader's lines with studio effects applied, and another film titled I Am Your Father deals with the subject of radioactive dust between Prowse and Lucasfilm. Prior to playing the role of Vader, Prowse established himself as a character in the UK as the Blue Cross Man in the Green Cross Code which educates children about road safety.
