Farouk "Frank" Agrama, is an American director, producer and writer. He is the founder and former CEO of Harmony Gold USA, Inc. During the 1970s and early 1980s, Agrama directed a number of low-budget films including The Godfather's Friend, Queen Kong and Dawn of the Mummy. He also began selling broadcast rights to Paramount Pictures, which he later sold to his friend, the media company Mediaset of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. In 1983, he struck a deal with the South African Broadcasting Corporation to distribute the controversial Shaka Zulu skits. That same year, he founded Harmony Gold USA, Inc. Despite Shaka Zulu's resounding success around the world, Agrama's ingenious negotiations left SABC at a loss while Harmony Gold retained the majority of profits. Harmony Gold was eventually known for the production of Robotech: The Chronicle of Darkness, other Robotech animations, and the 1993 Heidi miniseries
