Holger Felix Badstuber is a German professional footballer who plays at the center-back of the Regionalliga VfB Stuttgart II team. He is primarily a center-back, but he has also played as a left-back in the past. Badstuber made his Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich in the 2009-10 season at the age of 19. He played almost every match that year and helped the club win a double league title and national cup and reach the UEFA Champions League final in the same year, before finally winning. a place in the German national team for the 2010 World Cup and then to Euro 2012. He has won more than 30 caps for Germany. Former Bayern Munich manager Louis van Gaal said in 2010 that the Badstuber was Germany's best left-footed defender.
