James Victor Scott, known professionally as Little Jimmy Scott or Jimmy Scott, is an American jazz singer known for his high natural voice and sensitivity to ballads and love songs. After his success in the 1940s and 1950s, Scott's career collapsed in the early 1960s. He fell into darkness before going back to the 1990s. His unusual voice was due to Kallmann's syndrome, a love affair. A rare genetic condition left him only 4 feet 11 inches tall. until the age of 37, when he had grown by 20 cm. The syndrome had prevented him from reaching classic puberty and left him a shrill voice and an unusual tone.
