Lewis Holtby
Lewis Harry Holtby is a German professional footballer who plays in the midfield for the Blackburn Rovers team of the EFL Championship. Holtby started her professional career with Alemannia Aachen before signing Schalke 04 two years later. He was then loaned to VfL Bochum and Mainz 05 before returning to Gelsenkirchen, where he lifted the DFL-Supercup in 2011. He then spent two seasons in England with Premier League sides Tottenham and Fulham from 2013 to 2014 before returning to Germany to sign Hamburger SV. He spent five seasons there, including the 2017-18 Bundesliga campaign in which the club were relegated for the first time in history, and made more than 100 appearances before joining Blackburn in 2019. Holtby also represented Germany at different youth levels from 2008 to 2013. and captain of the country at the 2013 UEFA European U21 Championship. He made his debut against Sweden in 2010 and has since won three caps for the national team.
