Mark Meer
Mark Meer is a Canadian actor, writer and improviser living in Edmonton, Alberta. He is best known for his role in the Mass Effect trilogy in which he voiced the male version of the player character, Commander Shepard. Her voice is shown in a number of other BioWare Corp. games, including the Baldur's Gate and Dragon Age series. Meer plays the player character William Mackenzie in Hinterland Studio's The Long Dark, also starring his Mass Effect partner, Jennifer Hale. He has also worked in animation, voiced several characters from the Rantdog Animation Studios short series, and Horse in the Captain Canuck web series with Kris Holden-Ried and Tatiana Maslany. Meer is a senior agency member of the award-winning Canadian Comedy Award-winning Die-Nasty soap-A-Thon and the first artist to complete the annual 53-hour Die-Nasty Soap-A-Thon. without sleeping.
