Shin Ji-min, known by the nickname Jimin, is a former Korean rapper and singer. She is the frontman and main rapper of girl group AOA, launched in 2012 under the direction of FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin reached the semifinals of the first season of Unpretty Rapstar. On the show, she released a number of successful collaboration singles, including "Good Start" and "Puss." After allegations of bullying by former band member Kwon Mina, Shin quit the band and retired from the entertainment industry in July 2020
