Bernhard Carl "Bert" Trautmann EK OBE è un calciatore professionista tedesco che ha giocato come portiere del Manchester City tra il 1949 e il 1964. Nell'agosto 1933 si è unito allo Jungvolk, la squadra della Gioventù Hitleriana. Trautmann si arruolò nell'aviazione tedesca all'inizio della seconda guerra mondiale e poi prestò servizio come paracadutista. Fu il primo a servire nella Polonia occupata.
