James Newell Osterberg Jr., conosciuto professionalmente come Iggy Pop, è un musicista, cantante, paroliere, produttore discografico e attore americano. Designato il "padrino del punk", era il cantante e paroliere dell'influente band proto-punk The Stooges, che si è formata nel 1967 e da allora si è sciolta e riunita più volte.
