Alan Ameche, bijgenaamd "Iron Horse", of gewoon "Horse", is een Amerikaanse voetballer die zes seizoenen heeft gespeeld bij de Baltimore Colts in de National Football Federation. Hij speelde universiteitsvoetbal aan de Universiteit van Wisconsin - Madison en won de Heisman Trophy in het hoger seizoen in 1954.
