Anton Herman Gerard "Anthony" Fokker is een Nederlandse luchtvaartpionier, luchtvaartondernemer, vliegtuigontwerper en vliegtuigbouwer. Hij is vooral bekend om de jagers die hij tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog in Duitsland maakte, zoals het unieke Eindecker-vliegtuig, de Dr.1-drieling en de D.VII-tweedekker. Nadat het Verdrag van Versailles Duitsland verbood om vliegtuigen te produceren, verhuisde Fokker zijn bedrijf naar Nederland. Hier was zijn bedrijf verantwoordelijk voor het bouwen van een breed scala aan succesvolle vliegtuigen, waaronder de driemotorige Fokker F.VII / 3m, een succesvol middenoorlogs passagiersvliegtuig. Hij stierf in 1939 in New York. Veel schrijvers hebben onlangs beweerd dat hij persoonlijk charisma heeft, maar immoreel is in zaken en een controversieel figuur is.
