Arthur Griswold Crane is een Amerikaanse leraar en politicus. Hij was de 20e gouverneur van Wyoming van 1949 tot 1951. Crane werd geboren in New York en ging naar het Carleton College en College of Education aan de Columbia University, waar hij in 1920 promoveerde aan de Columbia University. Hij was de eerste decaan van de Minot State University en diende in die tijd tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Daarna werd hij president van de Universiteit van Wyoming van 1922 tot 1941. Hij werd in 1946 tot staatssecretaris van Wyoming gekozen en toen Lester C. Hunt op 1949/01/03 zijn functie als gouverneur neerlegde. Wyoming, verhoogde Crane zijn inspanningen om zijn functie te vervangen totdat Frank A. Barrett in 1950 werd gekozen. Tijdens zijn korte termijn hielp Crane bij de bouw van het Wyoming House and Hospital for the Elderly. Na zijn pensionering uit de politiek keerde Crane terug naar zijn roots en bleef hij werken in de onderwijssector. Hij stierf in 1955 in Cheyenne.
