Edward Gottlieb is een Oekraïense professionele basketbalcoach en executive. Bijgenaamd "Mr. Basketball" en "The Mogul", was hij de eerste coach en manager van de Philadelphia Warriors van de National Basketball Association, en sindsdien is hij eigenaar van het team sinds 5. 1951-1962. Oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Kiev, Oekraïne, werd hij op 20 april 1972 verkozen tot de Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame als medewerker.
