He was originally known for his work on the comedy group Les Nuls, most notably as a co-writer and lead actor in The City of Fear. Since then he has become a remarkable filmmaker on his own, generally writing and acting in his directed films, including blockbuster comedies like Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, RRRrrrr !!!, Houba! In the footsteps of the marsupilami and Santa & Cie. He has also appeared in French Twist, The Taste of Other, The Science of Sleep, Happily Ever After and the TV series Kaamelott. In addition, he voices the main character in the French dub of the Shrek series.
