Angela Jones is an American actress. She was born in Greensburg, Pa., Then raised in Jeannette, Pa., Where she graduated in 1986. She graduated from Point Park College in Pittsburgh. While studying at the Oslo Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Sarasota, Florida, Jones was cast for director Reb Braddock's Curdled short, Reb Braddock. Quentin Tarantino was impressed with her performance and created for her the role of Esmeralda Villalobos in Pulp Fiction, which was inspired by her previous role. Tarantino's CEO went on to produce a 1996 remake of Curdled, which she also starred in. In the 2007 biography of rock musician Slash, it is mentioned that while recording the soundtrack for the movie Curdled, the two had a brief relationship. Jones was the inspiration for Slash's “Obsession Confession” which he wrote for the Curdled soundtrack, with Slash stating that he and his band were fascinated by her after seeing her in Pulp Fiction.
