Annika Langvad is a Danish cyclist who once raced for a dedicated race in off-road cross-country racing. Langvad is a five-time world champion in off-road cycling, winning four titles in the off-road marathon and one in cross-country. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in a women's cross country race at Hadleigh Farm, but had to retire two weeks earlier due to a broken rib. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she placed 11th in the women's cross country race. On October 9, 2020, she announced her retirement. Since 2014, Langvad and her teammate Ariane Kleinhans in Switzerland have won the Absa Cape Epic women's division three times in a row. In 2015, they won by a remarkable 1 hour 18 minutes. Also in 2015, Langvad won the Leadville 100, becoming the first woman to join this race in less than 7 hours.
