Arouna Koné is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Sivasspor and is a former Ivorian national player. After making a name for himself at the Eredivisie, with Roda JC and PSV, he signed for Sevilla in 2007, where he rarely appeared due to injuries and loans. In 2012 he moved from Levante to the Premier League, where he represented Wigan Athletic and Everton, winning an FA Cup with his former team. Koné appeared for Côte d'Ivoire at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, as well as three African Cup tournaments.
Striker who played for Sevilla from 2007 to 2012, then spent a season with Wigan Athletic before joining Everton in 2013.
He began his soccer career with Rio Sport as a youth player and was promoted to the senior team in 2001.
In 2004, he made his debut for the Ivory Coast national team.
