Ato Jabari Boldon is a former American athlete and politician from Trinidad and Tobagon and has won an Olympic medal four times. He holds the Trinidad and Tobago national records in 50, 60 and 200 meters with 5.64, 6.49 and 19.77 seconds respectively, and is also a Bloc Sports Festival record. He also held the national 100m record with 9.86 seconds, ran it four times until Richard Thompson ran 9.85 seconds on August 13, 2011. After retiring from track and field, Boldon was an opposition senator in the National Assembly of Trinidad and Tobago, representing the National Union. National Assembly from 2006 to 2007. He also has American citizenship. He is currently an analyst for the NBC Sports TV track and field program.
