Booker Thomas Moore is an American football advocate. Moore set six high school soccer records while attending Flint Southwestern Academy in Flint, Michigan. A member of the Penn State Nittany Lions, Moore dashed 2,072 yards and 20 touches between 1977 and 1980, and played for the national championship in the 1979 Sugar Bowl against Alabama. Moore was selected in the first round by Buffalo Bills in the NFL Draft in 1981. He played four seasons for the Bills, appearing in 51 games between 1982 and 1985. Moore did not start his rookie season, but he managed to run. 38 yards after 16 tries. In the second season, he started 11 games for the Bills. In a 28-23 defeat to the Baltimore Colts, Moore rose to 53 yards after 12 attempts, taking over from the just-started Roosevelt Leaks. Although he started 15 games the following season, his output dropped, reaching just 84 yards after 24 tries. He won't score a rush until 1985, his final season.
