Walker made the UK his home country and gave numerous concerts and concerts in the UK. During the last years of his life, he lived in Oxford, UK. Walker died of a heart attack on August 8, 2007. He had a stroke at the King's Arms Hotel in Woodstock, Oxfordshire and died four days later.
