Richard Leroy Trickle, commonly known as "Dick", is an American car racer. He raced for decades on the short tracks of Wisconsin, winning many championships along the way. Trickle has participated in ASA, ARTGO, ARCA, All Pro, IMCA, NASCAR and USAC competitions. In more than 2,200 races, Trickle has scored a million laps and is believed to have won more than 1,200 races. He is considered to be the best short-haul pilot in history. Highlights of Trickle's career included the race to win 67 wins in 1972, to win seven ARTGO championships over nine years from 1979 to 1987, successive victories at the ASA AC-Delco Challenge five. 1984 and 1985, rookie of the year USAC Stock Car in 1968 and victory. Rookie of the Year award at NASCAR in 1989 in the Winston Cup Series. Trickle was nicknamed "The White Knight" as indicated by his sponsored SuperAmerica painting program, as he raced in Wisconsin.
