Gabriele Ivy Grunewald is an American midrange professional runner who has competed in distances of 800 meters to 5,000 meters. She represented the United States at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships and finished ninth in the 3,000-meter range. Grunewald was the national 3,000-meter champion at the 2014 US Track and Field Championships

Professional middle-distance runner who competed in distances from 800 meters to 5000 meters. She was the national champion in the 3000 meters at the 2014 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships. She represented the U.S. at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships and finished 9th.
Grunewald competed for the University of Minnesota where she was national runner-up in the 1500 meters at the 2010 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Grunewald was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma in 2009 and had several surgeries to remove tumors but sadly lost her battle in 2019.
She was born in Perham, Minnesota. She was married to Justin Grunewald up until her tragic passing in 2019.
