Houston Tumlin is the best known American actor when he starred in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby in 2006. Tumlin attended Victory Christian High School and graduated in 2011. He served in the Army. The United States for almost six years and has won numerous awards as an E-4 Specialist in the 101st Air Force, including the Medal of Achievement, the Medal of Defense Services, the Medal of Global War on Terrorism and an air attack badge. According to his mother, he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and depression after he enlisted in the army. Tumlin died on March 23, 2021, committing suicide at her home in Pelham, Alabama.
