Jake White is a football federation coach and former coach of the South African national team - Springboks - whom he trained to win at the 2007 Rugby World Cup and 2004 Tri Nations. White also used to train Springbok U21 team to win in the 2002 U21 World Cup. He has coached Brumbies in Super Rugby since 2012, but resigned with the remaining two years on his contract in 2013 to return to South Africa. Back in South Africa, he coached the Sharks for just one season, explaining that he wanted to look for international opportunities. This happened in a technical role with the Tonga national team. After assisting Tonga in their 3 European test trips, White is announced as Montpellier's new boss, overseeing all aspects of the club's training. On 24 October 2011, he was inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame, along with the other head coaches and captains that won the World Cup in the 2007 World Cup.
