In 1997, he signed a recording contract with BNA Records, where he recorded two studio albums: I'm Your Man in 1997 and A Matter of Time in 1999. These two albums produced five singles on the set. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Trace Charts; each of the album's title tracks entered the Top 40 in this table. Although he hasn't recorded any albums since A Matter of Time, Jason has continued to be successful as a musician, with artists such as Lonestar, Kenny Chesney and Montgomery Gentry already recording songs. In addition, he holds some credits as a background singer for the session.
