Jerome Charles Weintraub is an American film producer, talent manager and actor with dramas that have won him three Emmy Awards. He began his career as a talent agent, directing the relatively unknown singer John Denver in 1970, expanding Denver's success through concerts and television specials and movie roles, including Oh , God!. Weintraub has been credited with making "show business history" as the first to organize and manage major arena tours for singers. Other artists who have tours that he manages include Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, The Four Seasons, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Three Dog Night and The Carpenters. After his years as a concert promoter, he started producing films. Among them are director Robert Altman's Nashville, Barry Levinson's Diner, the original version of The Karate Kid and its 2010 remake, as well as the Ocean's Eleven remake and its two sequels.
