John Pardee is an American television writer and producer who served as an executive producer for Desperate Housewives. During the 1990s, Pardee wrote numerous episodes for a number of television series, including the animated film Doug; short sitcoms Charlie Hoover, Thunder Alley and The Crew; and Cybill Shepherd's sitcom Cybill. In The Crew and Cybill, he is also the producer. When Desperate Housewives started in 2004, Pardee was one of the writers, and in his sophomore year he was promoted to the co-production position. As of the first episode of season four, he is currently a production manager. Pardee works primarily with Joey Murphy. The two have been writing the scripts for the upcoming Mad Monster Party remake. He is a close friend of Christian McLaughlin and Valerie Ahern.
