Joy Doreen Biira is a Ugandan media personality with KTN News and DW. She is also a strategic and digital communications consultant, moderator, and speaker. She currently co-hosts a Pan-African and European environmental show called [email protected] on the Germany-based television station Deutsche Welle. The show is a partnership with TV stations Kenya Television Network and Channels TV in Nigeria.

Ugandan television personality best known as an anchor on the influential morning news show Morning Breeze. She is also a passionate environmentalist who created the 31 Million Ugandans, 31 Million Trees campaign.
She graduated from Kyebambe Girls School and Immaculate Heart high School.
At its peak, her show Morning Breeze was so popular that nearly half of the Ugandan population watched her every morning.
She has a son named Ty Kung'u.
She persuaded Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to launch the 31 Million Ugandans, 31 Million Trees.
