About Kaynan Duarte
Brazilian jiu jitsu competitor who has earned a black belt while representing the famed Atos Jiu Jitsu Academy. He rose to worldwide fame as the 2018 ACB World Champion after winning the 2017 ADCC Brazilian RJ Trials.
He first began his martial arts career practicing judo during his pre-teen years. He joined his cousin in jiu jitsu courses soon thereafter.
He became the Rio de Janeiro UAEJJF Grand Slam Champion in 2018. He also finished in second place at the IBJJF Pans No-Gi tournament that same year.
He was originally born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
He competed against Gordon Ryan at the 2018 IBJJF Pans No-Gi.
