LaWanda Page is an American actress and comedian best known for her role as "aunt" Esther Anderson in the popular TV sitcom Sanford and Son, which originally aired from 1972 to 1977. Later Then Page reenacted the role on the Sanford Arms and Sanford short-term TV shows. She also starred in the short series Detective School in 1979.
