Architect Lin Huiyin was born on June 10, 1904 in China (She dies at the age of 50, on April 1, 1955).
She was the first woman in modern Chinese history to work as an architect, and she was also known as Lin Whei-yin and Phyllis Lin. She is most known for coordinating the restoration of a number of Chinese historical sites.
