Linda Ann Gray is an American actress, director, producer and former model of film, theater and television, best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing, the ailing wife of JR's character by Larry Hagman in the CBS television series Dallas. she was nominated for the 1981 Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Television Series. The role also earned him two Golden Globe nominations. Gray began his career in the 1960s in television commercials. In the 1970s, she appeared in several television series before taking on the role of Sue Ellen Ewing in 1978. After leaving Dallas in 1989, she appeared with Sylvester Stallone in the 1991 Oscar film. From 1994 to 1995, she starred in the long-running Models Inc. Fox television series, and also starred in dramas, including Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter?
