Lorne Balfe is a Scottish film, television and video game composer and producer. A veteran of Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, Balfe is known for composing music for big-budget movies like 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Terminator Genisys, Mission: Impossible - Fallout, and more. DreamWorks 'Home and Penguins of Madagascar' cartoons, as well as Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Assassin's Creed III, Crysis 2, Skylanders and the Call of Duty video games. He also scored for The Bible TV series, Marcella, The Crown and Genius, after which he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Original Theme Music. Balfe attended Fettes College in Edinburgh, where he obtained a music scholarship.
