José Manuel Zelaya Rosales is a Honduran politician who served as President of Honduras from January 27, 2006 to June 28, 2009. He is the eldest son of a wealthy businessman and inherits the nickname "Mel. "by his father. Before entering politics, he became involved in his family's forestry and logging businesses.
