Marc Bolan is an English singer-songwriter, songwriter, record producer and poet. He is known as one of the pioneers of the glam rock movement in the early 1970s with his group T. Rex. In the late 1960s, he became known as the founder and conductor of the psychedelic folk group Tyrannosaurus Rex, where he released four critically acclaimed albums and had one hit. Small is "Debora". Bolan started out as an acoustic singer and songwriter before moving into electric music before recording T. Rex's debut single "Ride a White Swan", which came second in the app's charts in the UK. United. Bolan appeared in the March 1971 BBC music show Top of the Pops, wearing a sparkling facial outfit for the top of the UK "Hot Love" charts, considered the start of the glam rock movement. Music critic Ken Barnes called Bolan "the man who started it all."
