Carpathian are an Australian heavyweight punk band formed in 2003 in Melbourne. The band disbanded in 2011, with the final lineup comprising lead vocalists Martin Kirby, guitarists Josh Manitta and Lloyd Carroll, bassist Ed Redclift and drummer David Bichard. The Carpathian is composed of straight edge members and non-straight edges. Carpathian has performed at festivals such as 2007 Australian Soundwave Festival, Taste of Chaos, 2008, Sucks N Summer, Ieper Fest Winter, Ieper Fest Summer and Fluff Fest. The Carpathian line-up has changed several times in the history of the group. Both guitarists were replaced at the end of 2006. Michael Crafter, former singer of I Killed The Prom Queen, joined Carpathian in 2006. Vocalist Martin Kirby then switched to guitar, although Crafter was gone for seven months. Then in February 2007, after which Kirby took over. his position as team leader. Michael Crafter hasn't sung on any of the Carpathian records.
