Martin Xavier "Marty" Casey is an American rock musician, lead singer, songwriter and second guitarist of the Lovehammers group. After years of building strong local followers in Chicago, Illinois and the Midwest, Casey gained international fame during the first season of reality show Rock Star: INXS. Casey qualified for the two finals of the competition, finishing second after winner J.D. Fortune. Although he was not selected as the new singer for INXS, he was invited to perform the opening performance. In 2006, Marty Casey and Lovehammers opened the first leg of their INXS Switched On tour. Marty was fan favorite on Rock Star: INXS, received the most votes from viewers and topped the downloads chart with his performances on both covers and original songs.
