Sam Kinison
Samuel Burl Kinison is an American comedian and actor. Once a Pentecostal preacher, he practiced standing habits characterized by an abruptly intense pace, emphasized by his peculiar crouch, similar to the scholarly preachers coil. Initially free to play, Kinison became a protagonist of the Comedy Store, where he met and eventually befriended people from the comics like Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Kinison's comedy is insane observational humor, especially about women and dating, and its popularity quickly rises, helping him appear on Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. In 1992, Kinison died in a car crash in California, due to internal trade from the crash. Kinison received a Grammy nomination in 1988 for the single "Wild Thing" in Have You Seen Me Lately? album and victory after being crowned in 1994 for best vocal comedy album, Live from Hell.
