She began her career in the drama series Out of the Blue and came to further prominence with her portrayal of Indi Walker in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. Following supporting roles in the films Monster Trucks and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Weaving received further recognition for her starring roles such as Bee in The Babysitter, Melanie Cross in Mayhem, and Grace in Ready or Not. On television, Weaving appeared in the Starz horror comedy series Ash vs Evil Dead, the Showtime comedy series SMILF, the Fox Showcase miniseries Picnic at Hanging Rock, and the Netflix miniseries Hollywood.
