William Scott Gorham is an American guitarist and musician, once one of the "lead guitarists of the twin" of Irish rock band Thin Lizzy. Although not a founding member of Thin Lizzy, he remained a continuing member after auditioning in 1974, joining the group at a time when the group's future was uncertain following the departure of the original guitarist. Eric Bell and his short replacement is Gary Moore. Gorham stayed with Thin Lizzy until the band disbanded in 1984. He and guitarist Brian Robertson, both hired at the same time, marked the beginning of the band's most important period, and together. Develops Thin Lizzy's solo double guitar styles while contributing to the accompanying duet vocals. as. Gorham is the oldest member of the band after founder Brian Downey and leader and bassist Phil Lynott.
