Susan Frances Harmar Nicholls is an English actress, best known for her British television roles in Crossroad, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Rentaghost, and for her longtime role as Audrey Roberts in the opera Coronation Street. She also appeared on Broadway in the 1974 revival of the London Assurance comedy. Nicholls first appeared as Audrey on Coronation Street in 1979 and played the role periodically for six years, before finally joining the cast in 1985. She won the British Soap Award for Comedies. Best Performance of 2000, British Soap Award for Best Drama Performance, and received the 2019 Outstanding Achievement Award.
