Tabitha A. D'umo and Napoleon Buddy D'umo, known as Nappytabs, are Emmy Award-winning married choreographers often credited as developers of lyrical hip-hop. They are best known for their choreography on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance and overseeing the American Best Dance Crew choreographers and executive producers. Since collaborating with the ex, their choreography has received both praise and criticism. They own the Nappytabs urban dance outfit and have been in the dance industry since 1996. Tabitha and Napoleon grew up on opposite coasts of the United States and met in the early 1990s as students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. They started their dancing careers together when they were in college, choreographing industrial musicals for major corporations with hip-hop dance group Culture Shock. After moving to Los Angeles in 1999, they began teaching hip-hop at the Edge Performing Arts Center.
