William Gallas
William Eric Gallas is a former French professional soccer player who used to play at defender. He played most of his football career in France and England before ending his Australian career with A-League club Perth Glory. Gallas began his career in France, before being signed by English club Chelsea in 2001. He was transferred to Arsenal as part of the 2006 deal. He later signed with rival Tottenham Hotspur in 2010. Although his career was a hit, including Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006, Gallas has also been in controversy due to behavior on the field and friction with other employees. In 2007, he was named Arsenal captain, but was removed from his position in the 2008-09 season after criticizing his teammates in a media interview. He left Arsenal at the end of the 2009-10 season, when his contract expired, then signed with rival Tottenham. He was debuted at the end of the 2012-13 season when his contract expires.
