Astromech droid whose name stands for Second Generation Robotic Droid Series-2. He is often seen accompanied by fellow robot character Ц-3ПО and was a friend to Anakin Skywalker, Принцесс Леиа, Луке Скыщалкер and Оби-Щан Кеноби at various points in the Skywalker saga.

The character was inducted into the Robot Hall of Fame in 2003.
