Astrology Birth Chart of Bret Easton Ellis

Bret Easton Ellis is an American writer, screenwriter, short story writer and director. Ellis was first seen as one of the so-called Brat Pack literature and as a self-proclaimed satirist who, as a writer, must express extreme actions and opinions in a non-influencing style. His novels often share repetitive characters. When Ellis was 21, his first novel, controversial bestseller Less Than Zero, was published by Simon & Schuster. His third novel, American Psycho, is his most successful novel; after its release, the literary base widely condemned it as being too violent and deceptive. Although numerous petitions to ban the book led to Ellis being rejected by Simon & Schuster, the resounding controversy convinced Alfred A. Knopf will publish it in paperback at the end of the year. Ellis' novels are becoming increasingly super-fiction. Lunar Park, a story about fake memories and ghosts, has received positive reviews.

He is most known for his 1991 novel American Psycho, which he wrote as a fiction novelist and screenwriter. Both this novel and his previous best-seller, Less than Zero, were made into movies.
